Here's the translation: Not everything called an opera is actually one. The singspiel "Zaide" is a pasticcio, as the work was left unfinished and never presented as a complete piece during the composer's lifetime. The opera lacks an overture, a finale, and dialogues, allowing each director to choose how to tell this story to the audience. 

The creator of this concept, Raphaël Pichon, has chosen as the leitmotif of his production a story that is highly relevant to our time – one about the right to life and love, and the striving towards the light. On stage, within the colossal and extraordinarily striking space of the Felsenreitschule, there is only the play of light and shadow. And the people: the Baroque orchestra "Pygmalion," known for its bold and original interpretations, the soloists, and the choir, all dressed in white shirts. No sets. This is a story of gestures, movement, and singing. And the great Mozart himself – which, in itself, is priceless.
